Lina W. Blumberg, originally from Milton, Massachusetts, moved to Miami, Florida in 1983.
Ms. Blumberg focuses on the organization of worthwhile entities to receive gifts or grants from the Philip F. Blumberg Foundation.
Her community involvement began by helping spearhead the “Miami’s for Me” Campaign with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Blumberg was also a member of the Junior League of Miami, advocating for re-cycling programs and environmental initiatives.
She currently serves as a board member of the Guardian Angels of the Holtz Children’s Hospital, and is a Golden Angel with the Jackson Memorial Foundation.
For the past 15 years, Ms. Blumberg has co-chaired the Miami Heat Family Festival; an annual fundraiser for the Holtz Children’s Hospital.
At Temple Beth Am, Ms. Blumberg serves on the Committee of 100 and helped found the Bet Sefer Michpaha family program.
She is a native of New Jersey and a graduate of Smith College.
